6GHz SPDT Coaxial Switch

Description

This is a Solid-State Coaxial Switch, suitable for switching two antennas to one radio for example.

Connection via a JST PH2.0 3-pin socket, this device is supplied with 5V power, and switching between the two RF ports is performed by toggling the CTRL pin high or low.

LEDs are provided onboard to indicate which port is currently active.

Operational Notes

• No DC permitted on any port – if DC bias is present a blocking capacitor must be used to prevent damage to the switch
• While hot switching is possible up to 20dBm, this is not recommended and may shorten the service life of the switch. Best practice is to remove RF power before operating the switch. At least 5ms delay must be observed before applying RF power after a switching operation.
• The switch is compatible with both 3v3 and 5v logic and power supplies.
